have to say its annoying that i got items removed from a vero owner from someone at a yahoo address apparently representing a company (not named brand) but its not even the proper name of the company they claim to be

seems to be a rival seller has made up a vero company and is trying to get rid of rivals as i notice alot less sellers of my item recently

can this really happen?

Challenge the issue, if you are sure you have a leg to stand on.

Vero stands for Verified Rights Owner. Nothing about vero is gets verified. The claim or the alleged owner.

That person is pretty clever.

The Problem of '⊗⊗⊗⊗' eBay VeRO Members

submit a counter-notice. Most people win them, because if this is coming from a yahoo account, its probably not the real company.

There are some mean people claiming to eBay they are the owner of certain items. Once the vero is set up, they start to abuse it to beat off others. Most eBay staffs do not verify if the listings they report are from the true owner.

If you are 100% sure put in the counter claim. This is ebay monkey-staff at their worst/best. They 'accept' lies and you get punished.

i have no doubt that this is a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vero as items i sell have no problems with being sold and i have noticed all remaining items with diff sellers are at the same price so probably the same seller as they are more expensive than every seller who suddenly disappeared

The logic here fails on all but one point. It's the point that is most relevant. A competitor faking VeRO credentials to boot other competitors. No other sour-grapes matter.

Stay focused on the bottom line and the main issue. Leave the soap opera for daytime primetime.

By implying the others are f*ke, you lump yourself in the same group by your own words: meaning NONE of you should be permitted, technically. Had you and the others not been there, no issue would have arisen. TMI.

Thing is, as stated in #9, only one thing is relevant and you are avoiding that part. Perhaps the email of origin wasn't Yahoo as you said. Perhaps you think we need a sob story to pull secret strings in your favor.

You cry to ebay with your story. You were given a direction and advice from a few of the forum members. Don't play us for idiots. Mo-rons we be ain't.

Your items were removed for a reason. Either you competitor is playing dirty pool, or you got VeRO'd and you want to cry in our beer.

Regardless, we have no concern for the issue of f*ke or not. There's nothing anyone can do to help you with that part. Deal with what's real and get off the pipe.
