China figured out Vero Scan bots finally?
 

So, i have a question. Has the china sellers and some american sellers figured out a trick to keep the vero searchers from working? Why are sellers spamming " ™ " the trademark symbol all over their titles? Usually before and or after the vero brand name? For example. There is tons of MAC stuff for sale, with the trademark symbol. the usual sets that estee lauder will take down every mornign at 8am... yeah i know, from past experience before i knew better.

Are the bots not picking up vero brand names if you use the ascii or ansi whatever it is symbol ™ on/before the vero brand name?


An example is, if you want a vero hit, list an auction that says MAC 120 color palette. by this time tomorrow. it won't be up... but these guys are spamming the ™™™ in the title, some have sold over 60+ sets in like 3 days? I wonder if that's the trick to beat the vero bot?

I doubt that's all it takes, but who knows really. Only way to find out is to try it. Either way I can guarantee that the ascii TM mark is not a magic cure-all for VeRO.

i see some TRS doing it as well, yeah i don't know how these guys sell 85 sets of a health and beauty item, when even myself as a top rated seller in fragrance department... after 25ish sales, i am done for 30 days. I can't list more than 5 at a time, and yet they are always at or around 10?

this experiment has been tested - the tm symbol does not bypass the bots

FYI - china sellers, that I have been keeping track of are NARU now, they have their day, but eventually they go down, however you notice that another one with exact same goods had already started up a month before, so they are prepared for this, these accounts do not last long-term, even if the titles are clean, if they show the brand logo even just in the pictures, they are rounded up eventually...
