What information is obtained by VeRO members?

I'm interested in knowing what information is obtained by a VeRO member once that member "VeROs" an accused party's listing?

Does or is eBay allowed to share information such as names, addresses, amount of "VeRO" items sold, etc.? Anybody have a clue??? :noidea:

Yes, eBay WILL share your personal details (Names, Address, Phone Number, etc.) with the VERO member. I am not sure how much sales data they will give them, but they could easily get that through a subpoena.

If your items are genuine, no worries. Just contact the VERO member and they MAY let you sell them if you tell them where and how you obtained them. No guarantees, but it happens quite often, depending on the member.

If your items are counterfeit, you are taking a BIG RISK and may face a civil lawsuit. Copyright and trademark owners are increasingly going after sellers who sell knock-offs. The number of lawsuits filed for trademark and copyright infringement are increasing every day.

VeRo will obtain whatever they want to proceed with any claim they might have for the selling of goods entitled to their rights.

They will obtain this info in sneaky ways and thro' regular channels. :spy:

Be circumspect with selling items always.
