Is Babyliss Vero?

I've searched (these forums, google, and eBay's Vero participant list) but I haven't been able to come to a definitive answer.

So does anyone know if the owner of Babyliss is on the Vero list? The Babyliss brand is owned by Conair.

yes its a brand and therefore has a rights owner. If an owner is not VERO list, it does not mean that your items cannot be taken down for copyright infringement, any user or super-user can report your lisiting

I've checked the Vero participant list and can't find either Babyliss or Conair, but I've read on these forums that some participants are secret Vero members.

Re-read the reply to your 1st post.

Do a google on the brand & see what shows up. Do your homework B4 you think of purchasing the items AND listing them. REALLY do a google search. :spy:

Your category has an aggressive lot of people who report these items. CHI & others are similar.

Trust me, I really did a google search. I'm not one to go around spamming questions without searching if they've already been answered.

I stated in my original post that I have not found a definitive answer. What I mean by that is that I was only able to find one search result on google addressing my question. The problem with that is that it is just that - only one result, and additionally it is for eBay UK. It has been my understanding that eBay in the US and UK have different VERO participants.

But maybe my google-fu is just not strong enough  so I'd really appreciate it if one of you guys that knows more than me could help.

I made that comment because I did not know if you had even seen that URL.

Now, here's the problem as I see it. You are talking about an item in a category that is known to be problematic. 37 users have read the thread. Only 2 have replied. It may be that more info on this is simply not known.

So as I said, it's your responsbility to check to the best of your ability to make sure items are OK. Here's some hints:
Are you considering purchases from an authorized agent of the company?
Is the thrill of a big mark up what interests you in the item?
Do any warning bells start to ring? Because if the 1st answer is NO & the 2nd answer is yes, then you might be going into troubles.

You could consider checking the company itself about their reselling policy :pop2:
I hope this is more helpful :peace:

That's good advice.I will do more research and if I can find anything useful to contribute, I will.

Thanks :D
