Software

Ive been selling software on ebay for quite a while now and time to time i get a smart ass saying that it cannot be activated which i know for sure it can be, and then saying to me that he will report me to ebay and microsoft for pirating.
If there is anyone out there with more experience of how to fight them back would really appreciate of any tips.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. While I have no tips for you, other folx will prob chime in.

Your software is 100% legit? Because if it's all of those dh ga te ones or knock-offs, well you will have responses soon enough...

All the best.

You need to install the software yourself so you know how it activates and registers then you can give the buyer some troobleshooting tips and if it still doesn't work then issue a refund.

Welcome to the forum,'Viper.

Firstly the buyer is your bread & buyer so try to curb the 'smart ass' thoughts. If you have not tried the key you are selling as jbluntz said, then who is the smart ass? ;)

Calmly, rethink where the keys were purchased. Use google for info if you need. Dont be relying on some Chinese seller who assures you they are good to go. Should they look dubious, then a quick refund should be done.
For selling in the future, KNOW your product. Be able to stand by that product.
Good Luck

I would sell something else, its wayy to hard to sell that kinda stuff now, move on and sell stuff with lower risk.

If you really stand behind the software, give the buyer the customer service # to Microsoft, and let them tell that person that the item is #$^*&! If you are not 100% sure of the authenticity, I would refund, and move on to a more sensible platform.
