Default High Risk Items (?)

I have a question, when you guys mention high risk items what exactly do you mean? Possible f akes or high priced items?

I am selling computer stuff on Ebay/Amazon that go up to 1200$. Is this a high risk item?

Anything Vero is high risk, or something that can be easily sold as f akes. Google Vero Item, and read.

In terms of eBay, PayPal and Amazon, HIGH RISK means any items that are either favored by counterfeiters or have proven to be a problem for them in the past.

Some people will simplify it and say that Software or DVD's, for example, are high risk. But that is not entirely true.

If you try to sell Windows 7 Ultimate, that is considered high risk. But if you are selling Family Tree Maker Deluxe, that would not be high risk.

Entourage Seasons 1 through 6 is considered high risk. "Back to School" - an older Rodney Dangerfield movie, is not.

And even some unbranded items, like USB Flash Drives, can be considered high-risk because sometimes they will say 16GB capacity, but in reality have only 2GB formatted to look like 16GB.

The longer your account has been established, and the higher your feedback rating, the easier it is to sell high-risk items. But even then, you can expect PayPal to ask you for supplier invoices if they are not sure about the authenticity of your items.

DHgate is a great place to check to see if what you want to sell is considered High Risk. Search for whatever you want to sell there, and if it is for sale, and has a brand name, or is copyrighted, it is considered high-risk.

Yea I still sell those but only 1 to 2 per week only. I wait until the account has over 10 feedback and at least 1 month old. At the moment I only have 1 account but I am going to get that Stealth Book and make some more accounts.

But my bread and butter items is laptop had drives and memory.

What do you think ones feedback would have to be before selling vero?
If you had a store front would that be easier to sell them.

Weird because one time I tried to list Rosetta Stone and beach body stuff on Craigslist. The listing never got posted, I later found out that Ebay owns about 10% of Craigslist.

This is a first time that I have heard someone getting a nice email with stop selling that on Craigslist. For the Las Vegas area you see tons of those listings.

what about high risk items such as bullion? I was selling smaller bullion mostly 1 gram .999 silver before I got the boot on my main account. I know I can not come straight out of the gate selling such a high risk item but if I am patient and start with low risk items and build feedback, will I at some point be able to sell bullion without getting restricted? And if so how long and how much feedback should I have before I even consider trying?

Selling Gold will be hard. Since the price of Gold has gone through the proof and everybody in the world wants to cash in the Gold bubble.
