Default What makes them remove a listing?

I tried to sell a few DVD's and basically within a day they were all removed for breach of copyright act/Vero etc warning me about counterfeit items etc. Yet I see like.. 20 other listings of the exact same item, some have been up for 20+ days as a "buy it now" product. They've even removed an item I purchased from a STORE previously so was obviously not counterfeit and I had a receipt to prove that.

Though I never hear back from them if I do email them. So how do they determine the difference?

Some removals are automated while others are manually screened. What you're looking at is an imperfect system so just because others are listing it doesn't mean that you can necessarily list it. Perhaps the company's VERO screeners didn't get to them yet.

Whats the best option to avoid it being taken down if theres a chance of them letting it pass would you say? All I can think of is specified regions but again other region free DVD's are listed regularly by sellers who have 1000-2000+ feedback, bit confusing.

Was the listing removed by a VeRO member or was it a general copyright violation? If it was the former you would have an email address of the person that removed it. If it was the latter then it is possible that there is wording in your listings that are flagging them.
