MC019 on my new product, but i want to sell it

Helo friends, after long research i have found a new product to sell. There are a lot of other sellers offering it the same way i did, but 2 days later i have received MC019, which says that brands owner questioned authencity. I am sure in the quality and authencity , but unfortunately i can't prove it. What shall i do, i want to sell it, because i am sure it will be making me good money and i have secured regular supply.

Unless you get permission by the brand owner to sell, you will keep getting these violations. Eventually Im sure eBay will boot that account for good.

OR you must get solid longetivity record on the account and go from there. This product is a knock-off?

Stop being silly now. It's the golden rule of selling that you must KNOW your item.

Just because others sell it, YOU like it & you will make money, ebay will not care at all.

Your item is in a category where ebay will go with the VeRo rights owner and kill your account.

You either have to get permission from the rights owner to sell or find another item BUT stop damaging your account by listing it again.

I know you went to a lot of trouble to find an item so dont ruin your account for greed:juggle:

If it is authentic, then you can prove it in many ways. I honestly doubt that's your case.

Call your supplier and explain what happened. Tell them you need sometrhing to provide to the VERO member to prove the products are authentic. Either they will be able to provide something, will admit they are knock-offs, or try to hand you a line of BS about the product being "legal Chinese OEM" or some such nonsense.

This way, you will know what you are dealing with.

If they give you something to show the item is authentic, then contact the VERO member and ask for their permission to sell the item and offer to forward them the proof that your stock is legitimate.

If proof cannot be provided, then the items are counterfeit.

There is no magical way around this. You are on their radar. If they keep requesting that eBay remove your listings, eBay will eventually remove your account altogether.

And, YES, I am sure that there are 50 other sellers selling the same thing and are obvious knock-offs, yet the VERO member leaves them alone. Of course it is not fair. But that is how it works. eBay is not fair.

Yes i was thinking to contact the brand owner and clear this with them. I will not put it for sale again until i clear this or if i try , it will be after a month or later with other description and images.

GreenBean 11-06-2011 04:17 AM

Dont try again. It will count as another mark.

Dont waste the time of users here who try to make sure you will not lose your account

IF the vErO owners gives permission then fine, list the item.

No permission no listing would be the actions of a sensible seller.:juggle:

Gb is right

the sensible thing to do would be to never list vero on that account again

1 or 2 more violations and BAM,the account is gone

open new ones and sell on them lol

not advised but am a realist;)

oompaloompa 11-06-2011 07:19 AM

do not sell that particular brand again, wait 3 months and if you are really itching to sell vero, try another brand, if that gets a MC019 then take the hint, you are being watched....

ffstyle 11-06-2011 07:57 AM

I will not list this brand on this account anymore, but I think it's time to put all i have learned from the stealth book in action :) Thanks a lot guys for all opinions!:)
