Got VeRO'd...lesson learned. What to do with merch?
 

I thought I could get away with selling some VeRO items from China (phone accessories - the retail packaging & item are identical) because the margins are tempting. Ordered about $1200 worth of stuff on an impulse buy, started selling right out of the gate, then got shut down 2 days later. I have a 9 yr old TRS account without stealth, so there's no way I'm risking it again on any branded products.

Lesson learned: branded products from China are a waste of time. eBay isn't the same as it once was. Stupid me. I wish I had seen this forum sooner.

Now...what do to with all this merchandise? :rant: Is offloading it on craigslist to recoup my $ safe(r)?

Yeah, it's all merchandise that "fell off the assembly line" basically. Some of the factories there are contracted to make X amount of a product but run extra shifts and sell them on the side.

To be honest, just eat it, and move on. Be lucky you didnt run into any major issue, and learn your lesson.

Craigslist is working out nicely. A pain in the ass, no doubt, but i'm making a profit and the buyers are happy getting a 1:1 clone of the "licensed" product for half the price.

Its not a 'win win' its a 'fail fail'
You'd be surprised how many people DO NOT know that they are buying ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods. Could cause you a LOT of trouble down the line.
