Is my acct considered aged?

My acct was initially set up in 2004 as a buyer acct. Up til Sept 2012, I had a whooping (sarcasm) 4 feedback at 100%.

In Sept 2012, I also made it a seller acct. and have been selling for the last 8 months. My feedback is 940 100% positive. I have also listed a number of, umm, questionable items that has caused me to have selling restrictions for 7 days and 30 days.

Since then, I have been a good boy, but, of course, the demons are wanting out to play again. My selling limits are 3500/$57,500. I do not see me needing/wanting higher limits at the moment nor in the future.

With me only selling for the last 8 months, I am still new and consider myself ignorant to the ways of eBay.

Is my acct considered aged?

Can I sustain any more VERO hits before suspension?
How does eBay view my acct: 1)quality member or 2)another :bump: on eBay's rump?

Thanks :hail:

Not remotely aged.

And now damaged if you have more VeRo hits.

3 strikes and you are gone

Needs to be years and years old before it is 'aged'. You will loose the account if you start putting up questionable items again.

Aged takes years - 3500 is a sweet limit...dont jeopardize it MORE.

The more hits you get, the more risk you are for lower limits and account death. Play carefully.

Ebay accounts mature like fine wines......blah blah blah, waffle waffle........

Or they can turn to vinegar :) (aka get blocked, generally happens with VERO hits)

I too am interested in where they draw a line, as I'll get maybe one VERO hit per 18 months, including one about a week ago that was the first since the 2011 Christmas season. No follow-up emails on this one, though I suspect they'll require the tutorial again before listing things.

My sales area has medium vulnerability to this sort of thing, and with 500 or so items up at any given time, the probabilities of something causing problems are always there, if slight. The worry is if 2 or 3 coincidentally happen in a short period or if one of them decides to be particularly pointed and ornery (VERO hits don't seem to all be created equal in severity, at least not by my experience). The current account is north of 5,000 on the FB and about seven years old, FWIW.
