Ebay veto Disney kids bags

Hi all

Do ebay pull kids bags which have Disney characters on them
Thanks

oompaloompa 06-04-2013 08:08 AM

no, not on an established account, but it is possible you may get asked for proof. Alot of wholesalers are legit suppliers of these now, along with all the other merchandise. I have seen a few. Probably more of a problem is too many are selling them...

Many thanks , as long as I can get my listing high in search should make good sales , which I know how to do :)

Disney is HEAVY VeRo - best of luck - not for the faint of heart...best to have proof of authenticity ready

It is?

I am less then an hour from Disney and sell tons of Disney items I buy right from each of the shops at Magic Kindgom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom.

Never one single issue on any account.

I sell 100s of key chains alone from Disney World. Kids clothing, mens and womens sweaters and lots of Disney kitchen type items.

I think they have loosened up, maybe not for dvds but for other merchandise they seem ok, my wholesalers do them and therefore pretty sure they are legit.......if they are selling through these channels they know they will get sold on auction sites too....

That's true oompa - I didnt add that - the tag "Disney" in the title of listings for NEW sellers can give bad problems...especially coupled with DVD (I know the OP is NOT selling DVDs but given his/her status - IF a new account, it's rough to sell Disney from the get go)

GreenBean 06-04-2013 08:45 AM

DVDs come and go as problematic.

OP specially mentioned bags.

Not aware of troubles with them on a suitable account.

I loved those key chains when I was young - huge collection from 2 trips - pricey though otherwise would have loved to keep them going :thumb:

4.99 is pricey?

Then again I can grab the 20% (friend) employee discount!!

Right now the Disney pins are hot.

You can trade yours with an employee and some employees have very rare ones on their lanyard.

LOL bought one from the store, checkout girl had one from 1980s. Once I purchased it I asked her if that one is for trade and she said yes, we are required to trade one for one.

Quick 80.00 profit once I got my phone out and checked what it was selling for on ebay.

Disney items sell well if you have the right item.

DVDs are not something I would mess with because of all the repops out there.

rsot 06-05-2013 11:23 AM

Nice - traded a new one for old one? Wow.

4.99 is not pricey but 1) volume did add up and 2) forgot to add that when I was younger, the USD was much strong than the CAD so the exchange rate did add up (talking about $1 USD to $1.37-1.50 CAD exchange rate)

DVDs I personally dont think are risky to be fair. However, touch wood they maybe?

From experience I do not see them as being but who am I to say.

They are heavily HEAVILY counterfeited and monitored by Disney...

Quite the opposite

Disney has a big team which pull down DVD listings

Make bad trouble for sellers of any phakes.
Can be fatal for new accounts
