Selling Printed phone cases on Ebay
 

Hi Guys,

Does anyone on here have any history printing phone cases or t-shirts etc and selling on Ebay. I'm talking printing family guy, simpsons - pop culture.

Has anyone attempted to go legit and get the rights owners permission to sell? Were you successful and how long did it take to get set up?

The only advice you'll get on here is dont sell unlicensed products.

Your first worry is getting the approval of the company that owns the IP ( intellectual rights) to those goodies.

Off hand, I recall it is the Fox Corporation.

You would possibly need to consider your own website, your own ebay shop AND a lot of funds being invested to start up.

That leads to the other side of the issue. Attempting to sell on ebay with an account that may have little to no credibility.

In my 'travels' I came across a seller from the South of the UK who tried this with tee-shirts. He spent about £3500 on a set-up.
First listing lasted 3 hours and was pulled. Competitors in that niche ended up driving him away from that plan.
Wisely, he choose selling boring tee shirts.

You wont get the license to sell yourself, suggestion is to use a viable wholesaler or distributor business to obtain and sell licensed fox products. Least you can prove the source with invoices etc.

I use a couple of UK business who have the license to distribute phones cases and "other" products under many brand ranges.
