How many MC999 trademark violations can an account be hit with before suspension?
 

and how long does eBay keep count of trademark violations recorded against an account? If three months pass with no violations, will the account be in the clear again?

Suspension can happen on the 1st trademark violation

Account is in doo-doo from then on.

Even if your seller's dashboard goes 'green' ( again) ebay still know you had issues.

And they are known to suspend accounts months later.

I am not going to spell out what to do. I am sure you can grasp what I mean.

I feared as such. The worst part about it is that the items I was selling were genuine and the MC99 was as a result of a person reporting my genuine items! Of course, eBay took the items down, regardless.

I'm really glad that these things happen because they make me feel like getting even with eBay. Luckily for me it just so happens that when I get even with eBay I seem to get rich at the same time.

i got a warning first, then got hit with a 7 day suspension then got the indefinite suspension. so 2 in total and the 3rd was the hammer.

I have never had an account get shut down after one MC999, but that's NOT to say it can't happen! It can!

I've had an account get hit with 4 MC999's, three in the same month, before it got suspended. And they just gave me a 30 day suspension. About to come off that suspension soon, will start off slow and safe on that account once it's over.

What can I say, I like to abuse some accounts :p

Worried bout MC999? Make a lot of stealths and, like previously mentioned, ROTATE those sales!

I created a stealth, posted a vero the same day and got a mc999 a few mins later. No suspension but a warning i geuss. They removed the listing now im scared to post another lol. I had another stealth account(aged a month) thst also got hit right after the 1st post and was banned for life so i think its hit or miss. I have a problem rushing my stealths..

There's a difference with what will happen to the life of accounts zapped with these.

Pretty slow sub-forum...

I tried selling some OtterBox's a few months back. The listing was taken down by morning...Then I listed some Samsung chargers and they were selling fine for about a month and all the sudden I was permanently suspended for "risky account activity."

Pretty crazy....I've been an eBay member since 2003 and never had a problem before.

Everything I sold were authentic goods I bought from D&H distributing.

So here I am! Soaking it up....lol.

If your buying directly from D&H then you should have no problem providing documents and reinstating the account.

I ended up calling in and they told me they would call me about it, but never heard anything.

I offered to send them invoices and asked what they wanted me to do.

All I got was a message in my inbox about how they think my account is engaged in risky behavior or some crap like that. I followed the instructions to a T, but all I got was a confirmation that my account is going to remain suspended "indefinitely" and that anyone in my household that tries to open an account "may" be suspended as well.

Hi guys I am having a real problem with a seller on eBay. I purchased few accounts here and some if them have been shut down due to been reported by another seller and the reason I know it is because the seller contacted me from a different eBay user asking me about the products am selling weather they are original or not and I didn't reply to his message but after couple of days the account got suspended. And then again he messaged from another eBay account which I replied to his email and then he bought the item and when he received it he took a picture and sent me and email with the picture attached to it. It's a high risk item by the way. I really don't know what to do to this seller if anyone can help me I would really really APPRECIATE it thank you in advance for all those who are willing to help
