mc999 listing violation

Hi

I just had a few auctions taken down with a mc999 listing violation for using stock pictures of the companies website (I know stupid of me!!)

Anyway I want to relist and was wondering if I take the pictures myself and relist would that be okay?

thx

Your own pictures is what eBay wants.

Take pictures - stamp them yourself so ppl dont take - and change listing information to look new e.g. new text, title, etc

Are ebay ok with you including a load of your own photos but also include a stock photo of the item?

Haven't experimented with this combo - I could see it as possible but if you have your own photos, why bother with a stock photo?

Depends on the stock photo and the item. Some companies have issues with you using stock photos when selling their items.

Generally best to just stick to your own photos.

Just remember that when you do your own photos, that at least ONE side must be at least 500 pixels. I created about 50 pictures when they changed the rule and had to re-do all of them. And I was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NOT HAPPY!!!

I don't use any stock photos for anything anymore UNLESS they are in the eBay catalog. It is always fine to use THEIR stock photos.

Why are you bringing 2 year old threads up?

Just do new photos. Forget about stock or from manufacturer's website.
