Are retail versions of Windows allowed for selling on eBay? Genuine (bought from local Microsoft retail shop, with all proofs of purchase), boxed, sealed. Lots of photos are available, price is just a bit lower than in the shop, no China, of course.
Thanks. |

Thanks. | Even with everything you just mentioned....you still run risk of getting them taken down, your account limited. Buying the items from a shop doesn't exactly make you an approved re-seller of the item(s). Proceed at your own risk, this forum cannot give you a 100% go-ahead. |

| muzzie | 02-13-2015 01:52 PM | Re: MS products They are making their lots with an epic numbers of NO NO NO - properties that should not be in them to survive the ebay. And still they are there... I even reported some of these guys, still no any reaction from MS. I made one stealth just for fun, and placed the same item for sale, got an instant permanent ban (what a surprise). It seems some guys are just as lucky as a leprechaun. |
Re: MS products Stop worrying about other sellers, worry about your own business and how you are going to do make your business last. |

If you had put that much effort into getting your own business on track rather then worrying about other sellers, you'd have cracked it by now. :boink: |

Just the fact they made User Account Switching such a PITA is a reason for me to avoid it like the plague. |

It seems some guys are just as lucky as a leprechaun. | The fact is, some accounts get caught and others do not. You could start 10 different stealth accounts, all selling the same exact thing, and after a month 4 would be banned, another 2 or 3 would be having problems and a couple would be just fine. That is just how eBay works.
In my experience, simply reporting the seller does absolutely nothing. The only thing that MIGHT work is to have a couple of friends, preferably in different states, buy their items and then call eBay directly to complain that they got stuck with a counterfeit copy. Because when eBay sees one seller reporting another seller, they usually ignore it. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:26 PM. | |
