Is my item VERO?
 

Hello all!

I am a seller of stickers on motorcycles. Including motorcycles Yamaha, Suzuki etc. I want to sell it on Ebay. I think this is possible, because there are many other Ebay sellers who sell the similar stickers for a long time. They have more than 1000 feedback. But i got a problem with VERO after 5 sale. Is my item VERO or not? Could you guys help me out with any tricks to figure this out??

If it is branded and you do not have the rights holders permission to sell the brand, then you can get your listings taken down regardless of if it is in the VERO scheme or not.

Yes it's Vero. I am in the same market and have items get taken down even when others are selling it with no problems. I just don't bother now, not worth the risk.

Dont you just LOVE when you get slapped and "everyone else" still has their listings up and never seem to get reprimanded? Just how it is. If you got taken down for VERO, you wont be successful in relisting those items even if you tried. Stop while youre ahead.

Yes, its vero. Register your own trademark, and sell "SUZUKII" stickers ;)

Welcome to the forums OP - definite high risk items because of the popular name. Are they genuine manufactured by the companies?

I believe everything is vero unless its china stuff or your OWN product.

I personally don't care if the item is vero or not. Create zillions of accounts and you can sell almost anything.

Are you being serious? And if you are being serious, what is the reason for registering a trademark officially? Couldnt you just sell suzukii stuff without worrying about a takedown since its spelled differently and technically isnt violating?

I don't think that will work. I don't think ebay cares if it's spelled differently or not they will still take it down. Just create more accounts if you plan on getting around this.

Dear God, please do not tell me anyone actually thinks adding a letter to a brand name you are 100% copying and profiting from makes you immune to tra.demark violation.

OP never came back, so they obviously don't care. But, I'd love to just sit back and watch some retard waste time and money even attempting such an asinine idea.

Other people might be selling the same items because they are authorized sellers...

I sell very high branded name, however I get them from the USA with normal legitimate invoices...

I have to compete with people selling foofoo all day long and its frustrating that my market share is being stolen by this kind of stuff.

I surely don't mind have competitors on an even playing field... I have those too...

So "everyone else" doesn't apply....
