Default Worried about selling vero items....

I have an ebay account that is approx. 8 months old with just three feedback. I just purchased 18 pairs of shoes from Neimans today (huge sale, 80% and more off) and I want to list them. They are prada, manolo blahnik, christian louboutin and kate spade. I have the receipt of course. I've just read so many horror stories from people getting suspended for selling authentic items so I thought about contacting Ebay first to let them know what I want to sell and that I have the receipt for all items. I can even provide the name of the sale's person at neimans who was helping me. Does this sound like a good idea or not? I want to start listing these to get my money back and make a little profit. Any suggestions? It just seems like you should be able to sell authentic items by providing proof of purchase and a store like Neimans obviously ONLY sells authentic items. Thanks in advance.

hi
either spread them around a few accounts and sell slow, giving receipts and guarentees that they are genuine or money back or be upfront and contact vero owners program with all evidence before you list. either way they might object as vero owners dont always want exclsuive items on ebay. Do you have a strong older ebay account, then use that to contact them and show you are legit, and if they object or dont reply, well get stealthy...

well, list item with receipt is a good idea, but if u always do like that, i think ebay will suspend your id, so if use "secondhand",maybe can work!

Show the receipt in the images. That always has helped me get things through.

Thanks for the advice. I emailed ebay letting them know my intentions and asking for information. Hope that doesn't just draw a red flag. I also emailed one of the vero members telling them I have receipts that I will gladly provide if necessary. The other items I am going to sell are not on the vero list, or at least they don't have "about me" pages so I'm not sure how to contact them at this point. Hopefully I'll be o.k, if not, I guess I'll have to go stealth. Thanks!

There are over 5,000 VeRO members, most don't have the guts to have an About Me page. You may fall under eBay's brand name restriction policy where THEY shutdown sellers.

I would have suggested not contacting eBay because why draw unnecessary attention to your account. Anyone could say what you are saying it still could be ⊗⊗⊗⊗ (not saying yours are). What would they say.."o that guy, 3 feedbacks on a 8month account..dont touch him hes good with us". Probably not. As someone else already mentioned just try to sell slow.
