suspended from Amazon selling, but able to use old account to sell?!

Today I was permanatly banned from selling on amazon in a new account less than a month old. It said I was not allowed to ever sell on amazon again due to copyright violations and that I would not be allowed to open any more amazon.com seller accounts. I had sold a few items and now have $940 on hold for 90 days.

However when I log into my old amazon account, which is over 5 years old and linked to the same address and paypal info, it lets me put up new listings for sale!!!!!

I had been using this old account for years but decided to open the new (now banned) one with a different user name to sell more items.

Anyway how long will it take before they ban me from selling on my old account also?! I can not believe it has not been shut down too!

Is it just a matter of time or did I get lucky?!

hmmm. Thanks. I just sold a few items under the old, not yet closed, account, during the last two days.

I made a transfer out on both days, and it went through just fine.

I have a few other items left to sell on amazon.

Is there anything else I could be doing to keep it from being shut down?
How much time before it gets shut down, a few days, weeks, or is it just luck of the draw? Does amazon have any certain time when they do checks on accounts?

I also noticed in the old account that I accidently had my last name put in as my first name, under credit card, and the credit card is expired. Will this affect anything?

Once they suspend the old account, will they see that I have transferred money out from items sold, and thus penalize me by not letting me have some of the $700 they are holding for the 90 days in the newer closed account? Will I really get that $700 back?? I did not screw over any customers so I doubt there will be any complaints.

update: just got booted on the old acct. The good news is I had sold about $300 worth of stuff the past three days, and transferred all of the money out each day. It does not show in my bank acct yet, since it normally takes a few days. But I did get the amazon message each transfer, saying it had been processed. The amazon suspension email said all funds would be held. But there are 0 funds in the acct. Am I right that they will not reverse the transfers? I don't see how they could.

no, you are not 100% correct. based on timing, the can and will reverse the transfer. hire Modee today....
