as far as listings go, it must be tuff to be 'creative' with so many accounts.

So you do use forwarding services so you can go through the phone verify on ebay and then you just dump the number am I correct?

I don't need to phone verify at all. No eBay phone verification, lovely women. Welcome to Japan.

Just normal auctions for about 30 items. Maybe I lower the price a few $'s on these and once I have 5+ feedback, I list with BIN.

Default Opening Multiple Accounts w/ Diff IPs - How to log back in?

So the plan is to open up new accounts at different places around town that have WiFi...McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Library, etc...

Now, when I want to access that account/sell an item/answer messages do I have to go back to that same location? If so, how do people who reset their modems to get a new IP accomplish this?

Does eBay/PP track IPs on all log-ins or just registrations?

Thanks!

i think you have to sign up with ebay and paypal with same ip. BUT you can login with any ip (I think) but dont change ip's too much as it may raise flags also.

Create loads of accounts then just use 1 and stick to that ip.

eBay and Paypal ARE sharing information. This has already been discussed multiple times. So if a Paypal account is linked to an eBay account, then differences in IP will be noticed.

Thats not what I'm asking... Greg believes that you can log-in anywhere once the account is created on a "clean" ip. Just want to see if that is what everyone else does.

aejacks8 - I log-in under separate Window User ids for each ebay account I have. That id is solely dedicated to that ebay account. At the beginning of each day, I unplug my modem, let it sit for a little over a minute, plug it back in and log in to one of the windows user ids. I note which ip address I am using (ipburger.com). Then, when I am ready to move on to do something on another account, I log out of the windows id I was in, do the same routine with the modem, and start all over with a new windows user. EACH AND EVERY TIME I go to log into ebay I double check the ip address to make sure it isn't on the list for any of the other ebay accounts. All of this applies to logging in to PayPal as well.
I am currently selling under 2 ids created within the last month or so and have one sleeper set aside, just in case. I am looking to set up one more that I will link to a merchant acct. as I've never tried that before and want to give it a shot.
I let the cookies/flash stuff run on one id, and not the other. As I understand it, if you are being as careful as I am with the separate window ids then it shouldn't matter as the cookies/flash are only going to sit in the windows user they were placed in. They don't get on their cell phones and chat....<grin>
Good luck!
