Default Withdraw money from paypal before 180 day Limit

Here's an old article I found online telling you how to withdraw money from a limited paypal account before 180 days, it may be old, but probably can still help you. Good Luck

Just got limited, so this may just be timely

Some really useful information, have you had any success with using any of it?

After reading that I am not suprised many people do not get far over the phone :D it doesn't seem to be the correct way, if this is true.

Plus not many people ever stay "calm" when they are speaking to PP over the phone Unless they are stealth of course!

I like the qoute off the PP email reply halfway through:

"I apologize if you feel you did not receive the level of service you expected of Pay Pal."

Hi everyone,I got my money back withing 14 days, was deposited to my account ... what i did was a natural instinct because my Stealth Book cannot open (PM askpin already) ... So i called "again" and asked about my money, they said 180 days... so I played the victim and told them "i really need this money for my kids/rent/food and i am unemployed blah blah" ...rep was nice, heard me like crying, cry if you have to..i did it for my 1k+ and worked! money in my hand within 7 days

This is a paypal miracle. I have had the 180 day hold, and i was one month before the release and decided to call today to find out if i needed to change my bank account, etc. They released my money one month in advance, like today! no kidding. the lady i talked to , and btw, yes i logged into my account and did the contact us thing, and you have to do the phone call, and they give you a pin number, anyway, all i did was ask her how to prepare to recieve my money, and she volunteered that she would release it now, one month before the six month period. try it. just be nice. don't be pushy. all you have to do after this is just log in, paypal sent me an email, and just transfer your hold money to your already set up bank acct and be glad to be out of it.

PayPal holds your funds 90 to 180 days based on amount of money and number of disputes and chargebacks you get after your account gets limited. If you don't have a lot of money or if no disputes are open within the first 90 days (perhaps even 45 days). In that case there is a good chance they could release the funds if you call them, give them the facts and ask nicely. One thing most people don't know is sometimes the customer agent you're talking to doesn't have the authority to lift any limits so all you have to do is ask to speak to their supervisor since that is who makes the final decision. Did that a few times already, just remember to be polite but persistent.

just wanted to update you all on my attempt to get my funds out early.

i sent paypal and email about one account i had that was locked with over 5k in it. they refused to release any funds even after i said i would file complaints with anyone that would listen. they gave me the usual high risk BS.

i sent them a reply saying i would take half now and the rest after the full 180 days. they replied that they would do this, after i took care of the $157 negative balance on another account that was linked to it. (rookie stealth mistake). i agree'd and should be getting $2600 soon.

with that being said, paypal seems to have a real issue with people saying they will file complaints with the AG's office and the FTC. makes me think that they know what they are doing isnt legal or ethical, and they really dont want anyone taking a good hard look into their policies and procedures.

im going to wait a week and try it again on another account that is also limited. this one is only limited asking for id/utility bill/invoices/dna sample. dont know how far ill get but its worth a shot. ill report back with results.
