Alibaba Scam Gold Suppliers and Onsite Checks?
I am seeing herds of people from all over now able to get Gold Supplier and 3rd Party Onsite Check Status. I have a hard time believing they are all legit (Especially since most only accept Bitcoin , WU, and Moneygram)? My question is how easy is it to get these forms of verification? I've heard many say forged documents are easily approved by Alibaba.
What is so bizarre is how 85% of them only have Gold Supplier Status for 1 year. I did find a few with 2 - 3 year status.
If you were to consider running a $100 test ( my maximum) to see if someone was honest, what else would you check?
--I've read year established is important. Some are as far back as 2005 with 1 year Gold Supplier Status.
Also how reliable are the company profile stats? Some say $25 - 50 million a year, but I assume this info comes from a document as well?
Very often theses people specialize in unusual products like peanuts, paper, knives, kitchen ware, and then they have a few products that are in drastically different categories ( hardware tools, computer parts) that I'm interested in. Not sure what to make of that.
