Tell the city clerk you want to set up a Business in the following format.
John Smith DBA (Doing Business As) Ebay Magic
It cost about $20.00 and the whole process takes 10 minutes, at most.
Then get an EIN here: Employer ID Numbers (EINs)
Now go to your Bank and open a checking account in the New business name: John Smith DBA Ebay Magic
