not sure how to go about dba/ein

i need someone to talk to and ask questions directly to since i do not know if it should all be said on the site safely. i would really appreciate it if someone would be able to help me out with setting up the dba and ein

i have purchased the Stealth Book and am familiar with it but this is just something that i do not get really. please help someone. i appreciate it.

It's very simple to do in the US.

Go to your Local city hall, the town you live.

Tell the city clerk you want to set up a Business in the following format.

John Smith DBA (Doing Business As) Ebay Magic

It cost about $20.00 and the whole process takes 10 minutes, at most.

Then get an EIN here: Employer ID Numbers (EINs)

Now go to your Bank and open a checking account in the New business name: John Smith DBA Ebay Magic

The whole process takes 60 minutes not including drive time.

thn i would be able to use that info for the paypal account that is having a limitation asking for the SS# or EIN#? that would take care of this correct?

Use this site

Internal Revenue Service

It has the full details of what you need to do to create an EIN, regardless of what state you live in the USA. It has a further advantage of having a toll free number. You can call that and speak to tax professionals who (mostly) answer your questions.

This suggestion has been given to others who have gone on to successfully create EINs . In turn the EIN has been supplied to paypal & restoration of the account done.
