Should I use my real name for new Paypal account?
I want to create a new Paypal account, but should I use my real name? Here's where I am at: my old eBay account has been banned, but my old Paypal account is still in good standing. Now that I need to create a stealth eBay account, I would need a new PP account. If I use my real name and SSN, it would be linked to my old PP.
I plan to register a new corporation name and a new EIN, which I would use for my Paypal. But then the question comes up again: will Paypal ask for my name and SSN, beside the corporation name and EIN? More over, when I file the Article of Incorporation, I would have to put my name on it, so PP will have my name anyway if I submit this paper to PP.
I read some posts that say you can use f-a-k-e name for PP. But when it's time to provide tax ID, will PP asks for documents that relate to the registered name, or will they just ask for business name and EIN? I am running an eBay business with over 300K sales annually so registering for a legitimate PP account is a must, but how do I go about without being linked to my old account?
