Getting holds on account, but no message on my account of holds?

I'm not getting any message of any kind in my paypal account of holds or an email, but I'm getting hold is this normal? I'm wondering since I was getting payments find and suddenly I get holds, but no message of any kind. I usually get a message of holds being put in my account.

I used to get the message all the time on all my accounts, but as of a few months ago, only here and there I get the message from pp telling me my money will be held for 21 days.

I think its normal. Annoying but normal. Typical pp style.
