I win just about every chargeback when I'm able to give clear proof I did nothing wrong. I include screenshots of the original postage record (showing both ship from and ship to address + tracking), tracking results, PP sales record showing customer's address, any correspondence I've had with the buyer, and any other relevant stuff I can show them.
I won one recently on my merchant account by providing basically the same information. Cool being able to directly dispute a chargeback.
Anyway, in my opinion, it's not very hard to win these things if you've got all your ducks in a row. It's possible this buyer actually was scammed. But this is why seller protection exists. With the extremely limited customer info PP gives sellers we have no way of determining if orders are fraudulent or not.
