PayPal account on permanent Limit!
PayPal has emailed me less than a week ago that after them reviewing my account, they have put me on permanent limit and cannot use my money for 180 days!! Reason: unauthorised sales of branded perfumes on eBay UK!
I was extremely surprised, and called them and spoke to someone about it. I have always had a good account for over 12 years. Apparently, the problem started when a bad terrible ebay buyer bought from me and after receiving her item, messaged me that she wanted a refund, as I offer 14 days return policy, I asked her to send it back for a full refund. After two days, she asked me for the returned address and I provided it to her, then heard nothing and suddenly couple of days after that, she opened a case on eBay saying it was not an original item and not authentic!! I messaged her saying, I agreed a refund and why you opened a case? I then accepted a return and had to pay for return postage too as these tricky buyers know about it and as soon as they say there is something wrong with it, seller automatically has to pay postage. eBay provided her over 3 weeks to return the item but she never returned to me as I have a feeling that she wanted to keep and also get paid for it!! after the eBay expiry date of 17th November, eBAy cled the case in my favour on 20th November and I felt satisfied. on the 24th November had an email from PayPal saying the same person now opened a case for a refund (As she could not claim off eBay) and provided the reason, the item is not authentic and ⊗⊗⊗⊗! I know this had triggered it! I was away and as I wanted to conclude with this matter I accepted the return and 10 hours after that I had been put on limitation! This is crazy! When I spoke to PayPal first time she told me that due to buyers reason it triggered the review and I shouldn't have accepted return as I could have sent a message saying the buyer already lost the same case with eBay and PayPal would have checked, well as an honest person I only did the right thing. I was asked to send suppliers invoices and a letter and upload then on a link and after to put an appeal to euaup@paypal.co.uk which I did and had a reply last night with the same copy and paste and the do not reinstate my account. I called them last night and spoke to 4 people and was asked to write to euaup@paypal.co.uk again!
I have no idea what else to do now and this doesn't stop people using wrong words. Any help or comments please? Thanks
