Selling Forbidden Items
I've had a website for over 15 years that sells funny/offensive/politically incorrect stuff.
Had a merchant account for 15 years or so, until the culture shifted and I was deemed unworthy of an income. MATCH listed and banned for life from everything.
I bought the stealth guide and have a grip on all of that.
My main m.o. is to just send customers pay-pal invoices or paypal.me payment requests. The main problem seems to be too high sales, so I have to create more accounts and try to spread it out.
My question: How important is it that pay-pal can see what I'm selling?
I have read tons of stuff here, and it seems that most of you guys sell on e-bay and much of the advice mentions "what are you selling," when folks try to figure out why their account was limited.
Should I, for example, set up dummy products on e-bay and direct an e-bay invoice to my customers, so that pay-pal "sees" that I'm selling kosher stuff? Or does it make any difference whether pay-pal can see what I'm selling or not?
I have the additional burden of having social justice warriors making test orders on my site just to see what my current payment methods are to turn me in, so my stealth accounts are always toast within a few months......
Any opinions/advice appreciated.
