No $$$ after 90 days
 
I have an suspended AMZ US account with my real info. It was suspended because allegedly one out of 500 items was considered to violate intellectual property rights. It didn't, but still AMZ suspended the account.

Now they are holding the money for about 100 days. I sent an email to payments-funds@amazon.com and all they came up with was "We're researching this inquiry and will contact you when we have an update"

That's been more than a week ago. Anyone got experience with this?

I only have experienced dealing with support and it took them 1-3 weeks to give me a reply. Not even a reply that solves anything =\

I'm considering writing an email to Jeff@amazon.com

But not sure how long I should wait for an answer form payments-funds before contacting jeff.

My experiences have been a total lack of caring about my seller issues.

Emails take weeks to be returned.

I seriously am aware of what I consider to be a decline in their services to sellers.

They don't care about buyers or IP Rights holders either, except when their hand is really forced. I can file a DMCA today and it will be maybe, if I'm lucky, be around the 20th when they get around to it. During the holidays...might as well just let the scammers sell because Amazon takes even longer to remove infringements. Even having counsel file them or DMCA takedown management companies doesn't speed things up much.

They have tons of money, they put exactly zero back into their CS departments.

Here's a short update. I emailed payment-funds again and 1 week later funds were released.

Not sure if this really is important. It was pretty much straight forward. Told them I understand the need to hold funds for 90 days. However any holds longer than that are not justified by any means.

Same thing happened to me. I was falsely accused of inauthentic invoice and it is not a ⊗⊗⊗⊗! How do you fight that? They haven't responded to me in 2 months!

They owe me $400 too. Do I need to request the money back? It is sitting there supposedly being held while they investigate but I don't believe they are doing anything!

Get an authenticity certificate from the manufacturer if you can, contact AZ again once you have that and see if they'll review the new document and call the manufacturer.

If you are already suspended for inauthenticity, it's rather hard to get things reinstated.

Need to check your credit card if amazon can't charge little money for verify card. They not transfer money.

Its a terrible thing but unless you can provide legitimate invoices, they often times hold your money and inventory until you provide it

I understand having issues getting your money for inauthentic issues but now amazon can hold your money permanently if your suspended for any reason now?

I know the inauthentic suspension will definitely get your money taken away.

BUt I don't think I've ever seen them do this for other type of suspensions.

What was it you were selling?

This is when I would tell amazon to piss off and go to arbitration. Or use shady means to get your funds back through buyer accounts. Either way. Don't let them get away with it. They're scumbags.

I have received the same reply too. I have not received any reply's from amazon, but in contrary they have been deducting a reimbursement from my account for the refunds.

Any idea, should I go for the arbitration.

This same thing is going on with me! They have my email blocked I believe, because after 90 days they denied my request and ive emailed multiple different emails (payments, appeals, etc.) multiple times with no response. Its been almost 6 months and amazon is still holding onto almost 5 figures of my money !!! Thinking of just hiring a lawyer.
