My account was put on hold for one of the gift cards being investigated then my account was put back to regular standing. Now a second gift card is now under investigation and I can't log in to my account at all but did not get an email from amazon with a suspension or anything along the lines of account closure. It has been a month with no reply in my email.
Whenever I try to login it keeps telling me invalid password even after reset.
I talked to a rep over chat on my other amazon account and he said its on hold and that its not suspended or closed but under investigation. 1 month later still nothing.
There is an e-mail I haven't responded to asking for information about the gift card where I bought it etc. that I never responded to. I'm afraid if I respond they will close my account and not restore it. I have $500 on the account balance.
Do I need to call in to get my account off of holding or is it gone forever?

Re: Amazon account unable to log in Call them up again and try to negotiate over the phone but, in the end, you might have to respond to whatever e-mail they send you - only way to get it restored |

Think maybe a last ditch effort would be to call and see if I can get the account that way? Or should I just call it a loss and move on haha?

Hopefully it's a glitch.
If you still can't login and you're sure your password is correct, do give them a call. |

Seems like they erased my gift card balance but can't get into anything else other than the home screen once with cleaned cookies and cache, after logging in I can't get past the input account password again. If anyone has any experience with this or if it's just closed and gone perm. Thanks for any replies! |

Start new with amazon ghost. | They haven't given me any e-mail regarding closure or suspension. No contact with me at all. I talked to a support agent through chat on another account and he said that my account is under investigation by account specialists and is on hold. It's been like a solid month now I think or more with no contact or response to my e-mails. I haven't tried calling since the name on the account is a girls name and i'm a male :tears: idk what I would tell them. I don't know what to do in this situation.
Definitely am going to buy these guides though if this one is gone. |

If you get the "you may not sell" from that department, that is usually the end of the line
But if you have not gotten a response yet, you still may have a chance |

Normal CS reps can not unlock accounts. |

So at this time, there really isn't any loss for you to try everyting you can to get them to reverse it. Emailing Jeff as mentioned above is one way.
But I also recommend you start building a new account on the side. |

I have added several offers regularly.
Then, having zero feedback I created an article and I sent it to a friend who bought 10 and then 10 with 2 different accounts to leave me the positive feedback.
After 12 hours I can not log in... always error me wrong password...
Do you think Amazon canceled my account? I didn't get any mail.
