Banned from Amazon after using Bitrefill

So I purchased a 300-something GBP gift card from Bitrefill using crypto. Created a new Amazon.co.uk account, loaded it on, and tried to purchase some digital video games.

Next thing I know, Amazon inquires about the account, I respond, and then they ban it. Every time I try contacting them, they respond with the same copy-paste message, part of which contains this:

"We took these actions because the gift card you tried to use is not valid and cannot be redeemed. We cannot reissue the gift card or reimburse you for these funds. For further details, we suggest that you contact the party who sold or gave you the gift card."

I tried
- Creating a new amz account and contacting via live chat
- BBB dispute (they asked for proof of purchase via email but never got back. BBB is useless if you want to exchange more than 2 replies)
- Emails upon emails

Does anyone have any suggestions about what to do? Would appreciate any help.

Many gift cards sold for crypto are purchased the fraudulent/shady way, that's why sometimes they are cheaper.

Sounds like Bitrefill is a bad source of Amazon GCs

Thats helpful information to others, just use other avenues

Yeah, that's the thing - it's not. I've used Bitrefill plenty of times on established Amazon accounts, and never an issue.

Amazon just flagged it this time because it was a new account that was trying to redeem the GC for digital items. There is no problem with Bitrefill.

Likely carded cards, Paxful is the same full of scammers.

Does Bitrefill provide GCs themselves or are they 3rd party offered GCs?

They provide the GC themselves. It's not like paxful. I am completely confident in what they provide, this suspension is 100% Amazon's fault.

Bitrefill is a legitimate company - https://angel.co/company/bitrefill/people. They have partnerships with some of the biggest exchanges out there.

I mean if you think about it, I used the GC on an Amazon account created on a proxy IP from a different country, and then tried to buy another digital item with the GC. It's suspicious, I'll admit. The account got banned 1-3 hours after doing this.

The 'seller chargebacked on the giftcard' theory wouldn't fit this case, because most chargebacks take longer than 1-3 hours for the bank to initiate.
