Anyone ever got something like this before... Email inside..

I am a third party that has been assigned the responsibility of removing unauthorized reproductions being sold online that may infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, and/or patents. Mail fraud includes mailing these items through the Postal Service or delivered by any private or commercial interstate carrier (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL). See 18 U.S.C. 1341. You can be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

If your know your items are genuine - do nothing you will be receiving one or maore sales soon under another account name for verification.
If you know your items are not genuine or are not sure - stop selling your items immediately. Verify your items are coming from an authroized reseller of your products and then relist your items as necessary.

A few days later I got a policy violation for listing items as new when they werent. Obviously someone is reporting my listings becuase I have CRAZY prices, but I am online trying to liquidate these items. They are not real vero items so idk.

Ive seen similar posts, about letters of this nature, this amateur only managed to send an e-mail, it is either a competitor or a half-hearted attempt by the rights owner or their employees to scare you. However it could turn in to more, eg. they have the power to keep reporting your listings, even if they are an ordinary user status

This is an email from a competitor. An actual rights-holder would NOT send a warning email that they were going to have an undercover buyer purchase from you. They would simply DO IT, and then you would receive a letter from their law firm.

If a rights holder contacted you via email, they would most likely include an email address, a website address and even a real-world address and phone number. They would NOT be hiding behind vague language - they would WANT YOU to know who they are upfront.

I get 2-3 emails per week from these people. Usually there are misspellings and grammatical errors in the email. It is probably someone under 30 who thinks they have found a great way to eliminate competition.

Do not respond to such emails. There is nothing good that can come of it.

If Amazon thought you were selling phakes, your account would have been permanently blocked. Amazon does NOT give warnings to stop selling phakes.

OH... Also... Especially for MEDIA, Amazon KNOWS what real distributor pricing is like. So, if you are selling $200 box sets of TV shows for $99, they will eventually close your account.

Yeah that was copy and paste... I figured that it was some idiot competitor cuz of my crazy prices trying to liquidate inventory before I get my new items.
