Amazon A-Z Claim REMOVAL

I Searched pretty hard but couldn't find the answer....

Had an idiot buyer file a A-Z claim. I calmed her down and convinced her to remove the claim.

Will this claim still show up in my metrics report?

Just got it down to 0% !

at least she removed it. it much worse to have the buyer the the item and a refund.

One of my amazon accounts had one positive feedback then someone left a neutral because of a crushed package in shipping.

That was the first I'd heard about it.

Brought my numbers from 100 to 50 percent. I responded to fb and he removed it. My numbers were restored to 100%. It read it takes up to 48 hrs for the correction to post though it actually took 24 hrs

With that I can't imagine why A-Z Claims would be any different

Im talking about my customer metrics ODR rate, comprised of feedback, claims, and charge backs.

I have had several feedback removed so I know the process. Just never got an A-Z removed.

I guess ill find out when the 27th rolls around.

Here's how it goes:

1st, always ask the buyer to cancel the claim and tell them you will refund after that. If you refund a A to Z claim through the claim process, it goes on your record. If you refund after canceling claim, no record.

Also bear in mind that an A to Z claim results from one of two things, usually:

1. The buyer is a pr*ck.
2. The buyer wasn't able to communicate with you for some reason, and thinks you are ignoring his/her emails.

An A to Z claim requires special care because you are usually dealing with a pissed SOB.

Just an FYI

The buyer canceled the A-Z claim, I provided a full refund.

Even though the claim was withdrawn, It was STILL calculated into my % rate.

So it appears getting these removed is meaningless except that it shows up as "claim not granted" in your A-Z section.

Another Amazon wonder...

That's new. Didn't use to work that way. Then again, my last A to Z was about two years ago. Indeed, another gift from Amazon. Wonders never case, do they.
