Default even more MAC address questions :(

Ok, so I have a dsl modem connected to a wireless router which I connect my computer to wirelessly.

I tried spoofing my built in wifi adapter to no avail, so I am taking another route.

I am pretty sure I successfully spoofed my wireless router MAC as I followed all the steps and the IP address changed. It shows the MAC address as changing under the setup (can't confirm that tho as its all under a section called "Mac Address Clone")

I am planning on buying USB wireless adapters for each different account as thats just going to be the easiest method. From my regular computer, I connect to the internet, then I startup a VMWare account which has internet sharing enabled.

Now the questions are: Since I am using VMWare for my accounts and I successfully spoof all the MAC addresses on the VMWare accounts. Now since Amazon can only see the 2 closest MAC Addresses, I would think that 1 would be the MAC Address listed as active inside the VMWare (which is successfully spoofed) and the MAC Address of the USB Wireless adapter (which each account will be using a different one).

Is this correct? Or do I also need to make sure that the MAC Address on my wireless router is spoofed as well? Also how can I see the MAC Address on my wireless router? it is a Cisco Linksys E1000.

Thank you guys for your time!

With VMWare every new os install gives you a new computer mac and network adapter mac. So if using VMWare you only need to spoof your router mac and wireless network adapter mac if your using one. I have 2 Amazon accounts up and running well with this method so I'm pretty sure its correct. And to see the mac address of your router click the status button in the router web management.

I had 5 accounts going for over 6 months selling on the regular while using a tethered phone. albeit i went through 2 diff phones, but i never knew to change the mac addresses. Then it caught up to me one day through a chain of unfortunate events. the amazon decepticons don't check that far into mac addresses, but the physical reviewers will. I had one account go down, bout 8 hours later I had a second. When I got home all other 10 accounts (I just made 5 new ones) were straight up deleted. Interestingly enough 2 accounts made it, 1 i didn't log in from my iphone (last was used with my blackberry), and the 2nd one I completely forgot that it even existed (created with my blackberry).

Not trying to be a naysayer, but be very wary. And never sell the same item on 2 accounts (didn't cause the banning but it caused the eventual linkage)

And yes I can see that I successfully spoofed my MAC from the status section. Thanks!!

So you're telling me that if I use my 3g USB stick that gives me a new IP every time I connect, I STILL need to somehow spoof my MAC address?

^ I currently also run VMWare for my accounts. I use a 3G AT&T USB stick for internet access on those accounts via the virtual USB port. How about this, what if I buy a separate USB stick for each account, wouldn't each one have a different MAC address?

yes each one would, but the stick still has a mac that would be detectable I believe. Maybe not tho. My solution to mac address is as follows

Modem->Router->USB Adapters->VMWare

I change macs on everything but the router. USB adapters I switch out 1 per account

Don't think spoofing MAC addresses on your router is necessary. According to this page, there is no way Amazon can see your router's MAC address unless there are no other routers between you and Amazon:
