MAC Question

I've been using a CLEAR USB mobile throughout my Amazon seller transactions. Question is does Amazon gather info on the LAN, Network Adaptor inside the computer even though its disabled and I never used it? After 10 months I got banned and was thinking about not replacing the computer but just doing a deep clean reformat.

You should be OK, but if in doubt, use software to change the MAC. Not hard, easy peace of mind. It's just that I don't think anyone has been able to verify this for sure. My technical knowledge tells me that no, Amazon can't read any and all MAC addresses. My paranoia says change them all anyway.

UPDATE:
Managed to open a new account using the wifi network adapter of the same computer from a banned account. So far so good. Will cross fingers not to get banned come morning!

Account is ok! Amazon apparently does not gather info about disabled hardware. Sold the 2 items I listed.

Well of course they don't, but only because they can't. Windows doesn't broadcast the details of disabled network adapters.
