Amazon have changed policy re deleted acc.
 
It seems that Amazon have changed their policy regarding accounts that you cannot log into any longer. They used to allow temporary access to add a bank account after 90 days but they are no longer doing this. They are not responding to emails and seller support is talking about sending a cheque, not good for stealth accounts!! I currently have more than 10 accounts which I cannot log into, some with big balances. Anybody found a way around this?

you might want to change police to policy.....anyways, i have several suspended account and i just check them and I could long in. I had an amazon account suspended in late June with 12k inside and they release the funds, and I was able to long in, and I am pretty sure I still could

SO they are only shipping to the address on the account? Thats bad very bad.. I have an account with a 2k balance thats coming up in a few weeks...

I want my money going to bank not a cheque

yeah I know, it's not looking good...I tried to get the cheque sent to another name and address on one account but so far no luck, they're not replying to emails. Mine are amazon UK accounts but I assume that it's the same in the US as well. I've got over 20,000 US$ owing me spread over multiple accounts.

They did this only to my accounts opened with VCCs
 
I had a couple of accounts they DELETED and I cannot longer have access to any features of the accounts.

How come? These accounts were the ONLY ONES opened and using VCCs on file at the time of Amazon's second time $1.00 authorization.

So sad. Since then I realized temporary and VCCs will only buy you a temporary account.

Amazon charges your card from time to time to see if is still good and not ⊗⊗⊗⊗. VCCs are only good for one time but will not get you beyond 30 or 60 days.

Sad but true.

I just logged into one of my suspended seller account from July and I had full access to all features, including address, banking, checking/savings, and credit card. I have never heard of amazon deleting accounts, nor have I experienced it.

Dont know if this is true or not, because I have had an account for 6+ months on an account on a VCC and over 90k in sales. If they are going to charge you for anything they would take it directly out of your sales, just like they do for the $39.99 pro merchant services. They would also send you an email for alert that you need to update your credit card.

I had a suspended account and I could long in and change anything and everything and it was suspended from 4-5 months ago. I dont believe this story.....

only deleted accounts, if you can still log in then you can disburse to a bank account as normal.

it would be possible to cash the cheque but the problem is getting it...they don't seem willing to ship to an address other than the one registered on the account...seller support seem fine with taking a different address and name for that matter but then it gets rejected by the payments department. They're due to abolish cheques here in 2018 so maybe I'll just have to wait!!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but deleted accounts are due to if they are linked by address/name, banking info, or ip address, etc.

It will take a while for them to reply so send out emails to each 1-2 times a week.:pop2:

Yes that's right. Amazon sending cheques now! My first deleted acc they gave me access to add bank, now my 2nd check recieved and waiting on my third. They ask name and address to send cheque to, sO far it has been good.. Let's see what happens moving forward.
Anybody got any Uk amazon contacts for deleted accounts?
Why do they never reply?

They will send to name and address you request. They done this for me on my UK account!

Hmm they sent out one check to the address and name I had on file with a GHOST ACCOUNT! I didn't request it nor they asked for what information I wanted on the check. So I can kiss that $800 goodbye!:mad2:

I have recieved 1 cheque so far and I am waiting to recieve my 2nd cheque.

Also requested my 3rd cheque.. let see what happens. I will keep you updated.

I opened mine with a publicly known VCC, and They allowed me to log into my account for a 24 hour period to be able to withdraw. I emailed them about 1-2 days before it was suppose to be withdrawn stating that I did not have a bank account on file and that it had been 90 days. Try emailing them right when it's time. I also emailed them sunday day time and monday late afternoon when I didn't hear a reply back. I've found daytime is best to email.

If you contact the Better Business Bureau they'll send a check to whatever address you request.

The Better Business Bureau is only in the US. It doesn't cost anything to file a claim with them.

I would think that there is something like that in the UK

Not every account will get funds released. The more BBB claims, the less likely amazon MAY play.

Will the cheque thing go through? Even if you added a bank account? I recently added a bank account info on 1 stealth account that was running for a month and after 12 hours I cant log in which I presume I am banned. Will the money go to a bank account for will I be paid with a cheque?

What do you guys think?

If they deleted the account I wouldn't think it would go to the bank account. From what it seems like they are deleting accounts that they are very confident are stealth. That way the odds are better your funds will now become Amazon's money.

If the account gets the normal suspension and you can still log in then it would go to the bank account.

what is the difference when amazon delete or suspension your account? which is the reason amazon delete your account ? which is the reason amazon suspended your account ? what if you use the same address to get the cheque, which is the risk?, like amazon anyway delete your account forever

If the stealth address is a real address but you are using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, just file a change of address form for the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name at the stealth address. This way whoever actually lives at the stealth address still gets their mail but when Amazon mails the check to the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, it will go right to you

There MAY be differences in the UK, but this is my experience in the USA:

If Amazon does not like what you are selling, or if you are not meeting their standards, the account is SUSPENDED. You can still access the account, and add and change information, but you can no longer list anything for sale. Amazon sends you an email letting you know about the suspension. After 90 days, any funds remaining will be deposited into your back account.

If Amazon believes your account is a stealth account, they do NOT email you or contact you. When you try to log in, it will say "invalid username/password combination". You can try to change your password, but nothing will happen, you will still be locked out. Emailing them will NOT get a response. If you call, the person you speak to will be polite and sympathetic. But they will tell you they cannot help you and will have to have a specialist call you back. They will take your name and number. Don't hold your breath waiting for the call. I am told that sometime after 90 days a PAPER CHECK will be sent to the name and address on file. They won't allow you to change it. If the check comes back to them as undeliverable, the funds will be turned over to the department that handles unclaimed funds in the State you listed the account in. Once thast happens, threre is no way to get the money back. At least not without committing fraud.

A worthy idea, but I would check with a lawyer first. Filing a false change of address MAY not be legal (I don't know).
