Default Amazons new "Return Request" feature a good thing.

I have had more customers starting to use the return request feature that Amazon recently implemented.

Since then .... crossing my fingers - I have not received any A-Z claims. Obviously this could be a coincidence but I think now that buyers have an additional option ie. RETURN REQUEST - they are less likely to freak out and file a A-Z claim.

Just my thoughts...

Wonder if you have too many return requests how it can affect your account?

Amazon sees your refund rate regardless of return requests so I cant imagine it will have any affect.

I don't refund any of my customers through Amazon. I handle that outside of Amazon.

Yeah I do too.
Now the return requests Amazon may not otherwise been aware of is right in their face

Normally I send all buyers a note telling them when I shipped, whether I upgraded their order, asking them to let me know if any issues arise by replying to this message then thanking them again for their order.
Now they could be so inclined to hit that button. Not too worried about it but still....to sell in toys and games metrics must be very good

If happen with the real scam buyer you could loose your claim case, your product, and your outside method

I received 5 return requests in 8 days with no problems. (thats only about 12% which is a bit high - usually around 8%).

I am pretty sure it depends on your category you sell in but returns alone should not cause a suspension.

Reviews normally last for 30 days. While it is under review just make sure not to have any A-Z claims, don't get any negative feedback or issue any refunds. 99% of the time if you can do those three things your account will pass the review.

so the acc has a chance of survival if i closed all the listing while its on a review? it has 100% feedback. good scores no A-Z

They want you to keep the listings open during review.

You can remove some of your inventory to reduce

the chance for A to Z, returns etc... but try to make sure you are selling during

that time. You can send out notes to those whom you think nothing can go

wrong with their products (such as used electronics) asking them to leave

feedback. Reimbuse a few their shipping fee, add a dollar bill maybe...just

some thoughts
