Default amazon "gift" addresses

If I have an Amazon buyer account that goes down and I legitimately send someone a gift to their address using the account before it went down, does this endanger the person I bought a gift for also? I thought I was safe as far as buyer accounts so shipped someone a christmas gift but now that my buyer accounts are gone too, I am worried they might get connected and get their account shut down. Anybody have an idea?

Now that's news... I've got a buyer account still working fine after corresponding seller account was closed almost a year ago. Even had a prime there at some point (now expired though).

@OP, all I know is that if the buyer account gets shut down, you are unlikely to have order completion so the other person may not receive the gift. As for connection, I would not think so.

actually, as far as I can gather, once your order says 'shipping soon', you are good to go. I have gotten everything I have ordered so far, Amazon even emailed the tracking numbers
