Default Buyer Left Negative feedback for an Cancel order? What a Hack !

I now realize that AMAZON would allow buyer who cancel orders to leave feedback? Is this for real ?

I recently have a buyer paid for 1 item, then send me an email to cancel the order, I follow it up with order cancelling.

Today, I see this buyer left me a negative feedback ! What a hack !

AMAZON's feedback system really sucks !

Is there abything I can do to get rid of this Negative feedback ?

Nothing you can do, this is why I no longer cancel orders. I Amazon gives buyers 5-10 minutes after they make a purchase to cancel the order in most cases. If a buyer misses that deadline I tell them too bad our shipping process already pickup up the shipping info and item will be shipped shortly.

However can't the seller still request the buyer to change the feedback? or is that too late due to the fact that the order was cancelled.

Dont think it's so easy for seller on AZ to ask to change bidder feedback - I have not tested this however.

This is an unfair neg so you can either ask AZ to remove it or ask the buyer. I already had a neutral removed by a buyer in a similar case.

Amazon wont remove it.. tried and failed. You can ask the buyer why leave neg perhaps its another seller

You have 60 days to try and get him to remove it and then you can not do anything.

I generally call them if they leave a telephone number or look it up on whitepages it frightens the hell out of them when you call because these idiots are brave cowards who get a kick out of leaving negative feedback when its not warranted, I have had good sucess do this on a couple of occasions.

I try to email them... sometimes it works. But it pointless. Did you guys know that once the neg feedback has been posted it counts against u in customer metrics... and even if it got removed it still stays there regardless and counts against u!!!

no it doesnt, if the buyer removes it then it gets updated usually within 24 hours.
