I lost 3 new accounts

I guess I am too emo now, but really I feel so depressed now. I lost 3 new Amazon accounts and I guess they really see my MAC address, I think they send some kind of hidden program to my computer that reads my MAC address and send it like a message to them.


I used virtual machine and strong VPN, but strong VPN has only one Server in my area and they said everybody share the same MAC address, plus how can I be sure that nobody used these IPs on Amazon suspendent account before.

Plus I noticed that virtual machine has its own MAC address, so I don't know what is my mistake. For the last account I bought a Netgear router FS105( to linc it between my laptop and my DSL router) and swithed my location with Strong VPN account. I will not be surprised if they suspend this account too

Try get a VPS instead of a VPN in future, or possibly a wireless dongle if they are available.

Stop using VPN and get a VPS. A majority of VPNs have been abused and banned/blocked.

How does VPS work? Do you get ip and mac address from VPS and Amazon sees only it?

So, here is the plan for new account

1) buy new Vanila Visa card

2) buy new FS105 router ( it's the cheapest in my stapples store $30)

3) create new virtual machine ( usually I use Ubunta OS for them)

4) get VPS account

5) get new gmail and new google voice phone number

guys feel free to comment on this plan, if I missed something or suggest better choices

Did you have a cred it card on file that had enough funds to deal with test charges? That CAN also lead to deletion.

Yes. VPS is your own private server that you rent. Not unlike your own computer, the VPS has its own MAC address and a Dedicated IP address. VPN is similar but it is a network of computers - each time you connect your IP will be slightly different, but in the same IP range. Amazon keeps up to date lists of IP ranges known to be associated with a VPN. Even though some customers may legitimately want to browse the net using VPN, it still raises red flags, and is not a good idea for ghost accounts.

EDIT: Amazon will only see your IP address on a VPS/VPN. It's impossible for them to see your MAC address. I always change my MAC address anyway.

I sign up for two different VPS companies Webkeepers.com and serverpronto and still don't have access, I wrote to serverponto and I got reply "The server will be provisioned shortly. We will send you the welcome email with all of the login information when it is completed. Sorry for the delay."

can you advice me what company has immediate access after registration

well if you have a hotspot or dongle you cant change the mac addresses,

I agree, invest in a dongle and your troubles will be fewer. Cricket or clear wireless is also good.

I have experimented with VPN and it simply did not work. Even when trying to buy stuff online using VPN, I was flagged for 'fraud' alert' on regular websites and my orders were placed on hold. When I tried Amazon, accounts died premature deaths, <24hrs. So VMware plus dongle is the way to go.

Get the steps straightened out - no depression - get back at the sales via stealth methods. Amazon is tough but with the dongle, the IP given is useful
