amazon questions re personal info

Hi guys, I have long visited this forum and finally registered. I've purchased Amazon Ghost and I have an account that is a couple weeks old where everything seems to be going well. However, I have not added a bank account yet and noticed under the "Adding and Verifying Bank Accounts" section, they say to add a personal checking account you will need a valid driver's license number. I can't seem to find anything about this in the guide.

I assume off the bat I should not use one that I may have already used on an old account. But do they check this against your bank account to see if they match? What are the options here? Is there any workaround?

The work around is add a credit/debit card to our AZ account and then checking account number. This way AZ doesn't ask for you driver license.

Okay, I already have a credit card on the account. So as long as I have that, they won't ask for the driver's license?

correct, but be ready for AZ to request your tax info as soon as you start selling.
