Unhappy amazon keeps reseting my password, please help

Hi there, I have been having some problem on my amazon account. I keep getting email from amazon saying that "As a precaution they have reset my password" as if someone is trying to access my account.

I then have to go on to the amazon website and click on forgot password and that way create a new password.

This has now happened about 6 times in a space of 4-5 weeks. Nobody else uses my laptop but me. I even changed windows user account in case someone has hacked my account but still the same thing.

I am now getting worried, what should I do? Do I need to change my email address or format my computer?

Please advise.
Thanks

sounds like someone is trying to get into your account or the passwords that you are using are on the list of the most hacked passwords. Just thought

I use random passwords and I can't see it being that common 6 times. How can I ensure this doesn't happen? Should I create a new email account?

Should I change the email address or will this make things worst?

shouldn't make it worse, but you should update the email. Seams to be the only logical explanation.

@Dude, I just want to make sure of 2 things:

1. You sure the e-mail is from Amazon?

2. When you log into the account, you can sell and do normal dealings?

Defo email is from amazon because when I try to log in with my old password it won't work. I have to click on forgot password as suggested in the email I got from amazon and then they will send a link for me o reset the password.

I can then log back nto my account and do normal things. My listings are all active and no new items has been listed that I am not aware of.

I tried creating a new Windows USER account and use a new Web Browser but still the same after about 1 week it comes back.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
Any idea how I can stop it?

Maybe best move would be logging in - CHANGING e-mail AND username - might be a good start

Change email.. Someone probably has a bot on your amazon email if everytime u change the pass and try to log in again its the same issue...

Make sure you didnt give your info to any 3P software like feedback five or other...

I personally has this issue after I signed up for feedback five
