| Kelly441 | 07-01-2013 03:29 PM | Logging in with multiple accounts while traveling. I am traveling out of state and I wonder if it would be a big red flag if I logged into each of my 5 separate stealth accounts.
Certainly if they manually looked at my 5 accounts they could link them just by the fact that they are being logged into out of state from the same location.
However, I believe that Amazon only logs the IP at logon and the only way to know IP location is to do a Traceroute. Is it possible their computer does a traceroute along with logging the iP address?
I think next time I will leave my main laptop at home and use Team Viewer from another laptop to remotely connect to it and then log in so the location does not change.
Do I need to take these precautions? |

How do you change the IP? When you do this you will be disconnected from the computer at home. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-01-2013 11:46 PM | I used VMware and each image have it own IP. I just shutdown and start up image I want to use or done. Quote:

| TonyAlmeida | 07-01-2013 11:51 PM | For 1 laptop, I can have 4 different IP address at the same time using 1 main account with the laptop and run 3 VMware images. All 4 different IP using the same internet connection (1 RJ45 internet cable) connect direct to the modem (no router)
I know people don't believed it but that is what I got now. |
| Post Modern Sleaze | 07-02-2013 06:00 AM | just to clarify, you use an analogue modem? |
Teamviewer or Logmein are excellent options. Logging in with foreign country IP can be rough flag without advance notice. Same country IP is usually quite acceptable |

So Tony you must have static IPs tied into each Vmware? Who is your provider?
I have a mobie broadband card that has dynamic IP addresses and I have to disconnect and reconnect in order to get a new IP address. |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-02-2013 08:00 AM | Kelly,
I got dynamic IP, not static. I used Suddenlink cable internet.
Each MVware image have it own MAC address. No router use. Quote:

| Kelly441 | 07-02-2013 10:50 AM | I don't understand. I have multiple Vmware images and I know each one has it's own Mac, but if you have dynamic IPs they don't change just from changing Vmware images.
Is it because you are not using a router and are connected right to the modem, so every time you connect with a different MAC it changes IP? If so how do you know that it is going to change to the right IP for that particular stealth account?
Sorry for being dumb, I'm just trying to understand |
| Dmshark25 | 07-02-2013 11:38 AM | I don't think you will have a problem operating out of state , the IPs I get when operating at home often are from out of state( usually surrounding states) and I never have had any problems. And if you are using your main operating computer with cookies in place you should be ok. |

| It does for me. Quote:

| Yes, again for my case Quote:

| With the same MAC I can have the same IP some time 1 week, sometime up to 1 month |

I also like Logmein (x3) :thumb: |
| nebuspp | 07-06-2013 06:57 PM | No one but your internet service provider or someone on your network can likely see your MAC address. So what's the point in going through all that hassle? Just use different usernames on computer and airplane mode ON/OFF each time for new IP using your phone. |
| quantum773 | 07-11-2013 10:11 PM | So you guys are running multiple sessions of VMware on ONE user account with different mac and IP addresses!? And this would allow multiple accounts to be used at once!? I'm learning so much.. |

I'm learning so much.. | That's very interesting if you can run multiple sessions of VMware on one user account but surely you cant use them all at the same time.
How is it possible to connect to the internet with 3 or 4 different IPs simultaneously with the same machine ??? |

Due to the performance of my laptop I can't run more than 3, but I think I will be given more IP if I can run more VMware images |
| metatrade | 07-13-2013 01:44 PM | Tony,
So you are able to connect 3 instances of VMware to one internet connection and get 3 IP's simultaneously through only one internet connection ?? |
| TonyAlmeida | 07-14-2013 07:43 AM | Yes. I am doing that as I type this message Quote:

@Tony, I am also a little confused how 1 computer can show 4 different IP - last I checked, you cant alter your IP from your modem so all 4 on the computer would show that IP... |

Here's a hint.
Search posts by Stigger......
He gives a great explanation of this matter.
Easy Peasy when you know how to use your internet equipment

| TonyAlmeida | 07-14-2013 11:50 PM | I don't know how and I'm no expert in network but somehow I got different IPs at the same time. I used to run 2 MVware images at the same time, some time 3 plus the host laptop. Quote:
