Default Logging in with multiple accounts while traveling.

I am traveling out of state and I wonder if it would be a big red flag if I logged into each of my 5 separate stealth accounts.

Certainly if they manually looked at my 5 accounts they could link them just by the fact that they are being logged into out of state from the same location.

However, I believe that Amazon only logs the IP at logon and the only way to know IP location is to do a Traceroute. Is it possible their computer does a traceroute along with logging the iP address?

I think next time I will leave my main laptop at home and use Team Viewer from another laptop to remotely connect to it and then log in so the location does not change.

Do I need to take these precautions?

How do you change the IP? When you do this you will be disconnected from the computer at home.

For 1 laptop, I can have 4 different IP address at the same time using 1 main account with the laptop and run 3 VMware images. All 4 different IP using the same internet connection (1 RJ45 internet cable) connect direct to the modem (no router)

I know people don't believed it but that is what I got now.

Teamviewer or Logmein are excellent options. Logging in with foreign country IP can be rough flag without advance notice. Same country IP is usually quite acceptable

So Tony you must have static IPs tied into each Vmware? Who is your provider?

I have a mobie broadband card that has dynamic IP addresses and I have to disconnect and reconnect in order to get a new IP address.

Kelly,

I got dynamic IP, not static. I used Suddenlink cable internet.

Each MVware image have it own MAC address. No router use.

I don't understand. I have multiple Vmware images and I know each one has it's own Mac, but if you have dynamic IPs they don't change just from changing Vmware images.

Is it because you are not using a router and are connected right to the modem, so every time you connect with a different MAC it changes IP? If so how do you know that it is going to change to the right IP for that particular stealth account?

Sorry for being dumb, I'm just trying to understand

I don't think you will have a problem operating out of state , the IPs I get when operating at home often are from out of state( usually surrounding states) and I never have had any problems. And if you are using your main operating computer with cookies in place you should be ok.

It does for me.

Yes, again for my case

With the same MAC I can have the same IP some time 1 week, sometime up to 1 month

Operating out of state via ghost method is fine but out of country is the issue.

I also like Logmein (x3)

No one but your internet service provider or someone on your network can likely see your MAC address. So what's the point in going through all that hassle? Just use different usernames on computer and airplane mode ON/OFF each time for new IP using your phone.

So you guys are running multiple sessions of VMware on ONE user account with different mac and IP addresses!? And this would allow multiple accounts to be used at once!? I'm learning so much..

Yes, I'm doing that right now. But you need to be very careful about the IP

That's very interesting if you can run multiple sessions of VMware on one user account but surely you cant use them all at the same time.

How is it possible to connect to the internet with 3 or 4 different IPs simultaneously with the same machine ???

Much easier to run 3-4 computers which I suspect is what is being done...each with it's own Internet access for IP
