Default Amazon keeps deleting my accounts..

Amazon keeps deleting my accounts. I normally sell about $2-4000 on it every two weeks, and then the account gets deleted.

Should I stay under the $750 mark?

By the way, these are merchant accounts.

I sold $4,800 in two weeks on Amazon, was prepared to cash out and couldn't log in the next day.

On another account I sold $2,550 in three weeks, Amazon deleted it as well.

I'm working on about 6 more accounts now and hoping and praying to God Amazon doesn't delete these on me...

I think if I keep my sales low, I can successfully cash out.

What do you think?

Thanks for the reply guys.. It's weird that they are closing my accounts, considering most of them haven't even had one item listed for sale.

Here is the email I received:

Hello from Amazon.

We closed your account because we believe that you posted offers on our site and confirmed orders that you did not intend to fulfill.

Due to the proprietary nature of our business, we do not provide details on our investigation methods.

If we determine that a seller account has been used to engage in fraud or other illegal activity, we may permanently withhold remittances and payments. In accordance with this policy, we do not plan to transfer any funds to you.

To learn more about this policy, please search “When will I be paid” in seller Help.

Did you cancel too many orders to get an older account banned? Maybe they are linking it to that account?

I dont know whats up with that email, I got that as a policy warning when I first started selling on Amazon...I have no idea why I got that

Yeah, I don't know what's up with it either. I have had all kinds of stealth accounts banned in the past, but none for canceling orders or fraudulent activity.

This is a new one on me and I don't know why it's happening.. I've literally had 6-8 accounts deleted in the past week. And when I contact Amazon, that's the email I get.

It's definitely because they are linking me to older accounts though, right?

I am doing everything needed to start fresh, but I guess the MAC address thing isn't good enough.

They track your ip address I'm sure, and when you change the MAC address, it's supposed to alter your ip.

Any advice?

I've never did an Amazon Stealth but if I did I would atleast format the PC and start fresh picking a new computer name.

Theres more to just the PC/bank/name info to a lasting account......too much to type really. I would start searching.

OK....

I have never seen that email posted by AmaStealth, so I looked it up at Seller Central and sure enough, a new line has been added to the "When will I be paid" page. It states:

"If we determine that a seller account has been used to engage in fraud or other illegal activity, remittances and payments may be permanently withheld."

Amazon probably considers ANY violations of its terms of service to be fraud. Not that this is news, but at least we now have confirmation of Amazon's policy.

Changing your MAC address does NOT automatically change your IP address. The IP address that matters is provided by your ISP, NOT your router. The ISP assigned IP is what shows up to the outside world.

YES, Amazon CAN see your MAC address. Not just for your router, but ANY MAC ADDRESSES used by your system. They also use browser fingerprinting and other advanced methods of detecting stealth accounts that eBay/PayPal do not currently use.

If you want to see for yourself what information is available to Amazon (or others) using browser fingerprinting, go to:

https://panopticlick.eff.org/

If you are new to Amazon Stealth, I recommend getting Amazon Ghost. Seriously. As an FYI, I do NOT personally benefit if you buy anything from the forum. I have my "Executive" title because I answer a lot of questions and try to help new users. I don't own the forum.

And to AmaStealth, I would add that you are selling WAY TOO MUCH on a new account. Keeping it under $750 is a good idea. You need to stay under the radar and selling $2000 - $4000 on a new account will trigger a review. We try to avoid that.

One sentence in the email from Amazon, in particular, interested me:

"We closed your account because we believe that you posted offers on our site and confirmed orders that you did not intend to fulfill."

Did you provide tracking numbers? That would be CRUCIAL these days. I'm not certain that tracking wasn't provided, and I don't know how Amazon could divine a user's "intent" but obviously they didn't like what they saw and decided to delete the account and keep your money.

The bottom line here for stealth on Amazon is to follow the stealth rules set out in Amazon Ghost, keep up to date with new development by checking the forum often, and going ABOVE AND BEYOND the recommendations to avoid ANY possibility of account linking and/or detection of the stealth account. That means NO CUTTING CORNERS, NO VPN's, etc.

I NEVER use VPN's, VPS's, or even the same PC for my Amazon Stealth accounts. My way of doing it is more expensive, but it has served me well.

And browser linking is a beey-otch! If you are trying to use the same computer for all of your accounts, you need to pay VERY CLOSE attention to how you are setting these up. Thanks to Panopticlick at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, we can see what THEY can see.

And a SPECIAL THANKS to AmaStealth for sharing the email he received from Amazon. I don't believe anyone has posted that before, so it must be new, although it has been Amazon's policy for over a year now.

Amazon do not track the mac address, this has been talked about endless times but 100% it is not tracked or there would be a lot of angry forum members who all no longer bother with mac. Please please stop telling people that amazon can see your mac address.

Im also pretty certain they dont implement browser fingerprinting but thats so simple to get around it should not even be an issue.

As for the Ip you seem pretty confused on this point and this is what could get you linked. Im not sure how you have been stealthing for 3 years if you dont thoroughly understand what the Ip is about. Change your IP, its very very simple for most people to do.

Also that amount of money is in my opinion, completely crazy. Amazon are known to delete new accounts without any warning because of high turnover and by high, I mean about half of what you are doing.

You say you are experienced but its difficult to figure out what is going on as you dont offer much info.

However the obvious things that come to mind are
is what you are selling is either phake or high risk in amazons eyes?
you are just listing the same products over and over on each account?
ip address not changed?
Cookies not deleted/ using same browser?
Do you use VPN/vps
Have you cancelled a lot of orders/ not sent them out in time

I run all of my accounts off of the same computer. I dont even use a separate user account anymore and I have NEVER ever lost a stealth account due to being linked. I also use the same router, mac is fine just make sure you change the ip and keep a track of it.

My guess is that you are selling way too much way too quick or selling the same products on different accounts.

I GUARANTEE you that Amazon CAN see you MAC address. I don't believe they can on Linux, but on Windows it IS possible.

its possible in a very very very small amount of scenarios which would make it completely pointless for amazon to use. So please stop telling people it can be seen when its just a complete guess by you. I dont know how you can guarantee they see it. Have you worked for amazon?

My proof that they dont track it is that I and many forum users who have publicly and privately asked questions all go about fine completely ignoring the mac issue. There are at least 5 members who operate completely fine and others who have always not bothered.

I have done a lot of research on this and I mean a lot. Through the wonders of internet I have even talked to one of the worlds best hackers/ security experts and the simple answer is they cant track the mac address on any kind of scale to make it worth while.

unless you are in the building next to amazon using the internet or you install an applet that lets amazon see your mac and Im pretty sure no one is going to be doing that in a hurry.

Its blatantly obvious that they dont track it from logic alone. But even the technical info supports this.

I dont want to get into this argument again so to other people either see the link below or do your own research. If people want to go through the hassel of changing the mac to be safe thats fine, but dont be telling people you can guarantee amazon can see their mac address when this could not be further from the truth

Thank you for the reply!

When I alter my MAC address, I get an IP change. I know this because I visit ipchicken.com or IPBurger.com and see a new ip address number.

I use a different computer user for each account, so the browser/cookies are all fresh.

I do not use a VPS or VPN.

My account are being deleted/disabled within a day of listing 1-5 items for sale. I do not sell expensive items.. $40-50 max per item.

Any additional advice on this matter?

Yeah, do you put a bunch of fluff items in there as well? Also could it be item linking? Listing JUST expensive items could be kind of a red flag too. I would list some cheap things into the mix.

Yes, I normally start out with fluff items to get it going. Then I progressively move into listing the expensive stuff.

Had another account go down last night. Here is the email I got from that one:

Hello from Amazon.

We removed your selling privileges because your account failed our review process. Due to the proprietary nature of our business, we do not provide detailed information about this process.

After a review of your account by an account specialist, we have decided not to reinstate your selling privileges.

We regret we are unable to provide further information on this situation. Further correspondence regarding the closure of your selling account may not be answered.

We appreciate your interest in selling on Amazon.com.

It's funny because this account wasn't even under review. I simply opened the account and let it sit there without any selling for two weeks.. Automatic sign of them linking the accounts?

Honestly, I hope you're right! Because if it's my methods, and not what I'm selling, then I'm going to be happy when it finally works out.

I think you need to just try a full reboot. New/formatted laptop on a dongle or dial up, etc etc. This isn't to say that you aren't doing things 100% correct, I don't mean to insult your technique or anything.. but I feel like you have to start somewhere in weeding out possibilities. They could be sending you those canned messages when really it could be just plain linking somehow. Can't always take Amazon messages as fact.

True true. Three years of success is a really good run, but tracking methods on Amazon's side evolve over time, they have to.

PS it does sound like you're selling risky-frisky items to me,, hope you're under the radar well enough, suing is the new big thing on Amazon.

How would I go about getting dial up when I already have cable internet?

I would definitely be interested in signing up for that if it means my accounts will stay active.

Also, could it be my accounts are being deleted because I'm signing up as a seller from the start? And not creating a buyer account initially?
