what is the difference between amazon professional account and individual account ?

I was an individual account, but now it becomes a proffesional account. Why that happened, and what is the difference. And which is safer. Thanks

an indiv acc pays a per item fee eg 75p and the % usually around 15%. A professional acc does not pay the per item fee but pays the % and also pays £25 per month pro fee.

the pro acc can create listings and apply and get access to gated catagories and other tools it can sell alot more too.

you did not ask for this?? you had better change it under personal settings because they will deduct the £25 per month otherwise.

as for safer, what do you mean? neither is safer if you get reported for something....

amazon is amazon. No one type of account is safer than another.

Have you been on amazon before?

You must be clicked somewhere that you don't know, don't read the link, or don't pay attention.

it is literally 1 click under settings, suppose it is easy to switch to by accident, assume you would have got a confirmation email too so check there.

Does the professional Amazon account, when they charge you the monthly fee, do they take that from your Amazon account balance? Or do they charge your credit card? Thx.

That's great, so when u sell something they don't keep charging your vcc.

The only time they charge the VCC is when there is a charge your available balance cannot cover. For example, if you had a chargeback, or you owe Amazon, and the available balance doesn't cover it, the remaining is charged to the VCC.

Its very important you avoid them charging the VCC because if it doesn't have enough balance, Amazon will remove the CC from your account.

Play is right BUT keep in mind that Amazon still does TEST CHARGES on the vcc on file during various transactions. Failing a test charge can lead to account deletion.
