Made a test account with the new system, all stealth details, selected the option to provide driving licence, ticked the option to provide utility bill upon request and added a bank. After a few hours the window at the top that said pending verification disappeared and I was able list an item which sold sucessfully. Just waiting for the microdeposits now. Will update you all with the account status in a few days.

Please beware when you wants your funds amazon with require the id, I already done this.

About 1 week but they deleted I asked them when wil I get my funds..

Also repeat bank was used for micro deposit..

You used an old bank? Since when does Amazon do micro deposits? :s

Why on earth did you reuse a bank account?

Here We Go Again advised a long time ago that bank account reuse with amazon failed.

Since amazon are verifying accounts with the micro deposits it is better to have a fresh bank account.

I have tried to create Amazon DE/UK accounts using personal info (name variation + corresponding bank account) and using US LLC in the past week, and both have gotten requests for passport + utility bill info.

They accept UK driver's license, any valid passport, or other major European travel documents (in Germany it's called Ausweis).

If anyone could figure out the ID verification part of the process I would appreciate very much hearing about it.

yes you are right, I never had any issues with repeat bansk though..

oh well its gone..??? so what can I do..

So, has anyone had success with them accepting a DL or even a passport with stealth details?

So help me understand this, amazon uk did not ask for any business related info before ? We in US always need to provide business number (ein) at signup which gets verified by iRS
So how is Asking for utr different from what is already been done is US?

Busienss needs utr and personal needs passport ?

Amazon UK did ask for business info before. Business info is relatively easy if you open a new one, for example, a US LLC or a UK Limited company.

What is different now is that Amazon UK is asking for identity documents for the primary contact person, which is passport or equivalent, and possible recent household utility bills under that person's name. This makes stealth accounts where you use a business name + EIN pretty much impossible.
