Dedicated Elite Private Proxies OK?

I researched the forums about proxies but I'm getting mixed thoughts on this. Some say it's OK and some say that Amazon will detect these. But if it's an "elite" proxy that means Amazon shouldn't be able to know I'm even using a proxy, correct? Also if it's a "dedicated" proxy IP then I should be the only one who is using the ip address assigned to me and it's not being shared. And also, I think some elite proxy services advertise virgin proxies or ip addresses that has never been used. And you can buy a whole bunch of dedicated elite proxies that are advertised this way at a reasonable price, and I think it's a nice benefit having Dedicated IP addresses per stealth account. But would someone who knows please confirm if these IP addresses are OK or am I missing something here on why it should be avoided. And if private elite proxies are OK, is there a provider anyone used that they'd recommend? Thanks!

Very few IP addresses have never been used. Anyone claiming that they have brand new IP addresses is blowing hot air.

Not a good idea.. if anything you'll want a private dedicated VPN IP which has not been heavily recycled.

I use dedicated VPN IP's for me Ebay accounts and haven't had any problems. So do you think it would be safe to do the same with Amazon or would tethering via my iPhone work better?
