Can't Create Seller Account Amazon Europe

Hey,

I am trying to create a seller account (individual seller, not business), but it's not possible.

I get this error: ''Sorry, but you're not an approved Seller Central merchant.'' (something of that sort)

I can sign up for a US/CA seller account, but I am in Europe, and I prefer to sell on European marketplaces.

Why is this?

Can't select any category. I am trying to sign up for a new account (via ''individual'' or ''pro merchant''), but I get a red error message (exclamation mark) without any further information. I tried selecting different countries, but no luck.

I was able to create a US account though. But I am not allowed to sell collector's items (blurays etc.) on there, so I am kinda stuck.

Anyone know why this is? Is it because of holiday season, temporary block on new accounts, or is it because of something else?
