Default Bank account clarification question

Hi, sorry for starting a new thread about this, I've seen this talked about in many other threads, however I just want to clarify if I can withdraw money from my Amazon.uk account into a bank account with a different name that hasn't been used before.

Would I have to go through any sort of verification for the new bank account?

Basically, Amazon has been holding all my money from the past 6 weeks and are releasing it in a 5 days. It would save me money (around 4-5%) if I can have it sent to a different bank account than what is currently set up and verified.

Any help with answering this question would be very much appreciated.

New bank will be either HSBC or Natwest personal current account.

I am just a question- Why to take the risk for 4-5% ?
You're also burning , new bank account if you planned to use it for further account.

4-5% is quite significant, as Amazon held all the money made from beginning of December till first week of January, which consists heavily of non-discounted last minute Christmas purchases and FBA sales.

I wouldn't risk that money, specifically since you're saying its a big amount for that.
Just so you know , Your account will probably go through the eyes of verification once changing the bank account on it.

Yeah, maybe you're right, it's not worth having the account suspended and having the money locked up for another 90 days.
